The power of Squidoo. A great social networking site and fantastic tool for building or selling your business is the Squidoo page. One of my favorite aspects about building a Squidoo page is that anyone can do it. It’s very user friendly and someone brand new to the Internet doesn’t have to take a course to learn html and the technicalities of it.

These social networking sites really help you to develop a presence without having to be a website making guru anymore. If you can copy and paste and write down some good content along with some work you can get your page up in no time at all.

Now, like everything else, there are some tricks on getting your Squidoo page out there and preselling your business through your Squidoo page, like bookmarking, linking to other Squidoo pages and putting good content on your page. Once you learn how to put together a Squidoo page you can set it up in a couple of hours and update it every few days.

Check out some of the other top lenses on Squidoo and see what they are doing to raise their rankings. Every small tweak can start raising your ranking and get people to visit your site and I have been trying out these tips myself and already seen a difference between the first one I put up and the second one I have just put up and barely spent time on it.
