Sometimes the simplest and often least expensive tools are overlooked. One tool I can not live without is Skype. I use it for so many things including keeping in touch and exchanging ideas with business partners.  

My husband/partner Brad uses Skype for Skypecasts. Skypecasts are great for doing international conferences to promote your business. You can even record your conference with your contact information so people can listen to it while you’re sleeping! Pretty awesome in my opinion.

I have saved a great deal of money with Skype by using it to call international contacts through Skype. Yes, you can purchase credits to call another person’s phone but if the other person is a member of Skype (so many people these days are), you can call their computer for free! Now that’s a smart tool to have in your arsenal. You can text several people at a time or even open up a chat room for your team or talk through your microphone.
