Here is a great social-networking community for moms that was launched in late 2006 that I wanted to share. It’s called CafeMom.
Moms are connecting on cafemom through shared interests, challenges and passions. There have already been more than 35,000 moms groups created on this site regarding a wide variety of subjects from pregnancy, recipe swaps and relationships.
It has customizable home pages to show off your family and interests and feel supported by other moms. I was also impressed by the incredible resource links page for moms on subjects from government assistance, postpartum and feeding and depression. There are journals and photo sharing as well. So if you’re looking for a place to take a break, meet other moms, get some mommy questions answered, come over and visit with other moms at Cafemom.
