WAHM Independence and Appreciation

This is what it’s all about.

I get to be home with my children while making money and being able to celebrate Independence Day while living in another country. The kids learn about each country’s independence and that’s important to Brad and I. We had a wonderful day at a picnic and playing with the whole family and of course a new barbecue to kick off the summer!

Working from home with my children enables me to be with them and enjoy the summer. I couldn’t imagine having to work inside an office while my children were enjoying the summer with someone else. No way, this is how life should be, in my world at least. Though working for myself can sometimes be a lot of work, (I can be a tough boss ), this is the ultimate payoff.

In Calgary it’s also the beginning of Stampede week, so there is lots in store for pancake breakfasts, rodeo, dancing in the streets, cowboys, shows and festivals for the next 9 days.
