You know, I have been thinking about the new year, how I am so glad this year is over. We did have the belssing of our 3 rd child Makayla come into the world and she was a beacon of light in a year that was kind of tough to get through for one reason or another. But when I watch and listen to people like Michael Oher, who inspired the movie and book, “The Blind Side.” He reminds me that we can get through anything and go on to accomplish great things in life. Cheers to your new year!
Lately every time I turn on the news, whether it’s the American or Canadian channels, all I see are raw footage of school shootings, fights on school buses, economy collapsing, war, Uh! It could seriously put someone into a deep depression or at least paralyze them in fear of walking out their door in the morning. Geez!
Don’t they report on any of the good stuff out there? I mean, really, give us some faith in human beings. I finally had to turn it off last night and just rely on my good ‘ol laptop to give me the news where I can choose what I want to read and watch instead of sitting through the whole news hour just to see the 2-minute good samaritan last segment. Here’s something that will make you smile.
