WAHM Solution – Just Add Water . . .

Some days I feel like jumping through the phone or computer and physically shaking people’s heads.

“Just tell me what I have to do so I can just start making tomorrow,” they demand. What?!

Now, it would be different if they already had an established list and background in the industry but they wouldn’t be asking me this question in the first place if they did.  

It takes study, work and sacrifice to learn anything in this business. I work almost every night and day on our lunch breaks in between running my dayhome.  Unless I am out and about with my children because they are of course, number one!  

I work or study on the weekends, skip television, events, etc. to learn what others know and I don’t. I love it and I have a passion for it, so the sacrifices are no skin off my back. But everyone is after the get rich quick scheme. But even with as much knowledge as Brad and I have acquired, we still probably know about a quarter of what people like Jack Humphrey and Rick Butts know which is why we study them.

Yet, I still get calls from people who believe they are going to start immediately earning and I suppose they expect to absorb whatever knowledge we know by osmosis.

We say, “Okay let’s get started, make appointments for what times you want to get going, but start before you even plan to begin your home business. Despite what you hear, the people who actually make money over night have already studied their field for months or even years before you did. Make no mistake, you are not going to just add water and it will grow.” Even plants need nuturing and loving and coaching from others who have already made a great deal of the same mistakes you have made. And take it one day at a time.
