Choosing the right work-at-home-business

Choosing the right work-at-home-business

When you are considering working from home, there is a set of decisions that must be made. First, you must decide whether or not working at home is right for you. Next, you need to consider what type of work at home job you will be doing. There are many opportunities for Wahms out there, both offline and off. Having a successful Wahm career starts with evaluating your own skills and requirements in a job and then finding the right match.
Sometimes the best place to start with your Wahm career is where your out of the home career ended. Many women find that they can become independent contractors in the field that they previously worked in. You can use your previous work experience as a launching pad for your Wahm career. Some of the ways to use your experience to your advantage are: finding a company that hires people in your field to work from home, using your previous experience to become an expert writer in your field or starting a business related to your previous field.

However, some women look at their Wahm careers as a way to break out of their old job. If you do like to try something completely different, there are plenty of opportunities for entry-level work as an independent contractor. Many of these jobs deal with telephone or online customer service. When you work as a customer service agent from your home, you just need a reliable Internet connection and a working phone. Companies also hire medical transcriptionists, data entry professionals and virtual personal assistants to telecommute.

If you want to start your own business, the opportunities are very vast. You can start with a direct sales company and sell products from an established brand to friends and neighbors. You will make commissions through your sales and also off of recruiting other people to sell the products. There are hundreds of direct sales companies that offer everything from aromatherapy products to candles to cooking supplies.

Another option for starting your own business is offering a service in your community. Day care center operators, florists, professional organizers and hairdressers all have the option of working at home, among many other professions. Of course, starting a business in your community normally means that you have had some experience in that field. However, there are some small business ideas that can be started without much experience at all.

Many women turn to the Internet for a source of at home income. The World Wide Web offers a plethora of job opportunities. You can offer your services online as a freelance web designer, writer or virtual assistant. You can also start an online store that sells products that you make yourself or have the rights to resell. Many Wahms establish their businesses online by using one of the popular auction sites, like eBay. Still others find a home in internet marketing, by directing web traffic to a website and then recommending certain products and services.

Decide first what type of job you do like to do and then work from there. If you are truly a people person and need to get out each day, direct sales or a local service business might be right for you. If you are the type of mom who lives online and is comfortable with the Internet, try finding a job or starting your own business on the web. If you like the comfort of having a weekly paycheck, look into telecommuting positions.

Once you have decided what category of job you do like, do some research on what it takes to be successful at that type of business. If you feel like you are drawn to one particular business or company, then sit on your decision for a week and see how it feels. Imagine what your life will be like as you take on the duties of that job. Most importantly, be realistic with yourself about how much time you can devote to your business. Finding the right match is not hard when you thoroughly consider your options.

When you are considering working from home, there is a set of decisions that must be made before anything. First, you need to know if you really have the skills and equipment to work from home. Then, you need to decide how you can put those skills to work – either through a telecommuting employer or your own business venture. There are many opportunities for working mothers to explore, especially online. Becoming a successful work from home mom is dependent on your research. Finding the right match for your skills, income expectations, and equipment is vital for a successful work from home venture.

Sometimes the best place to start a work from home career is where your last career ended. If you have done customer service in the past, there are a ton of virtual call centers such as LiveOps, West at Home, and Alpine Access that hire experienced customer service professionals and people with retail experience. Companies that hire home-based telemarketers are often looking for new workers and pay an hourly rate, with flexible schedules. When you work as a customer service agent from your home, you just need a reliable Internet connection and a working phone. Do you have experience in the hospitality industry? Some companies hire virtual concierges to schedule tasks for busy executives.

Experienced in childcare or teaching? There’s a growing demand for online tutors with the right qualifications and patience to teach kids online.

If none of the above seem to fit, there’s always a chance to use your skills to form your own administrative assistant business. Virtual assistants are becoming widely accepted as an essential member of the virtual workforce — and they can easily branch into new areas once they’ve grown a small list of clients. Usually, you need to have proficient internet skills and a comprehensive knowledge of word processing programs, as well as the ability to make and take calls from home.

If you want to start your own business, the opportunities are endless – but it will take some work and dedication. You can start with a direct sales company and sell products from an established brand to friends and neighbors. You’ll be working on commission, however, so you’ll need to plan your budget accordingly. Another option for starting your own business is offering a local business such as daycare, personal assistants, or pet walking. All of these will require that you leave the house from time to time, but they can help you generate income. Just be sure to check the licensing requirements in your state before you make a decision. If you’re more of a mompreneur than anything, you may want to start an online business.

Ebay stores and other retail prospects are always a good choice for moms, and there are many websites such as Work at Home Mom (http://WAHM.com) that have offer support and guidance for online ventures. Just make sure that you do your homework and don’t get caught up in any scams pr pyramid schemes – they seem to run rampant on the internet. Many stay at home moms have found a home in the internet marketing community by directing web traffic to a website and then recommending certain products and services.

Decide first what type of job you’d like to do and then work from there. You don’t have to limit yourself to one source of work from home income. Many moms take part-time telecommuting jobs while they work on building a business of their own. Don’t limit yourself to what you know, take time to explore your options. Make sure you find an online community for support that you can turn to for new ideas, job leads, and guidance. There are a ton of successful work at home moms out there that love to share their expertise.

Making money from home

Making money from home

Some pointers on how to make money online:

- One of the most popular ‘home business’ jobs is affiliate marketing. This is usually done through businesses which offer affiliate programmes that you can join up with. Most established companies have a bevy of recognisable brands to offer to affiliate marketers. Marketing other peoples’ goods and earning a fee is the simplest way to get going.

 - Making a site is relatively simple, that’s only half the work involved. It’s also important to drive traffic and learn how to market your site. The problem with working on the internet is that 99 percent of these money-making programs offered are a waste of time and (your) cash.

 - Don’t only click on every ad you see to find revenue resources; try to find networked groups of WAHMs (work-at-home moms) who have found success in earning cash on the internet or off and ask them for tips. They can give you some ideas about which programs are actually worth putting time and money in. Investigate message-boards and forums. Some forums allow users to post links in the body of a message. Be sure you read all the forum policies carefully prior to trying this, or you may be banned for spamming.

 - The difficult part of associate marketing is sticking with the business until it starts to make a profit. You find advice spammed all over the Web, but how much of it can you believe in? Web scams exist in their thousands, each one designed to bait suckers with the promise of easy riches.

 - Internet success is fairly easy; it just calls for a plan. Most webmasters just try anything and everything, haphazardly. You can contact a great variety of customers and communicate with anyone in the world, speedily. You can use your email opt-in list to send updates about your special offers, products and newsletters; whatever you think your consumers want.

- If you have a site set up, you need to design it. All your site needs to include is a review page about your products with client testimonials stating that each product works well and is worth buying into.

 - Commit time to testing out different strategies in order to discover the ones that work best. Select a business type that you find agreeable and that you are passionate about. Then do some research. Set up your own blog or website. Build a mailing list. Replicated affiliate sites won’t provide that for you. Start with what you know.

 - The more surfers you attract the greater your ability to get more sales. Upload content-rich pages on each one of your sites and include keywords that will climb to the top of search-engine results and increase traffic volumes. Research in advance, don’t just react to circumstances.

 - Buy a domain name that’s very similar to to the affiliate marketing product you’re attempting to publicise. Don’t, however, infringe on the copyright of a brand name. That may annoy the brand owner.

 - When your business is up and running, if your product isn’t getting sales, move on and try another. Do not hang about hoping that it’ll sell; the odds are it won’t.

 - Internet marketing requires brand name exposure. Content on your site needs to be search engine optimised. Get your brand all over the Web in order to generate useful traffic. Targetted traffic is what you’re aiming for; if you get a viral video on Youtube about hang-gliding, but you’re selling finance, you won’t make much cash off it.

I hope these few basic pointers will be of some use to you in your online marketing enterprise.

Working As A Home Based Transcriber

Home-based work

Home-based work

When looking for secretarial, data entry or word processing jobs in the newspaper, one may think that typing skills are no longer important, since these jobs are in very short supply. However, there are thousands of people all over the country that are making money through typing. This is because they are home based transcribers. What is a home based transcriber? A home based transcriber is a person who converts audio into a written format. They do all of this through a telecommuting, home based setup, where work is submitted via email or through an FTP on their company’s website.

So, how do these lucky individuals land home based transcribing positions? Basically, they type fast, have an eye for detail and keen hearing ability. In fact, of these skills, a keen hearing ability will probably get you further as a home based transcriber than even typing speed. When you hear in a keen way, you must be able to listen to the words that are not being spoken in situations where speakers are mumbling or have heavy accents. You must also be able to figure out what is being said when the audio quality is poor. Additionally, you need to be able to distinguish between different voices. While this may sound easy, when you transcribe long documents that have dozens of speakers, it can be difficult remembering who exactly is speaking, unless they have something about their voice that is prolific.

Home based transcribers must also be very disciplined when it comes to having the drive to continue doing work that can be dry and boring. However, there are some home based transcription jobs that offer a little bit more exciting content. These are usually the ones where home based transcribers must type up court hearings or police correspondence. Dryer jobs are the ones where home based transcribers type up company briefings, certain types of news media and political correspondence.

No education is required to become a home based transcriber, if what is being transcribed is general in nature. If the content is medical, it is recommended a transcriber get a certificate in medical transcription, though it is not required. It also helps if a person has excellent English skills and is generally well-educated. This is because as a home based transcriber you may come across lots of fancy vocabulary and industry jargon.

To find home based transcribing jobs, it is best to search freelancing boards such as http://Wahm.com. Sites like this offer a whole section of contact information for some of the most popular home based transcribing jobs. Alternatively, a person could simply enter “home based transcriber” complete with the quotes into a search engine. The listings that would come up would relate completely to home based transcription, since the quotation marks tell the search engine to exclude any results not relating to it.

In conclusion, if you type fast and want to make money for your ability, think about becoming a home based transcriber. It is not the most exciting job in the world, but the work is steady and the pay tends to be good. In addition, home based transcription is one of the most widely accessible at-home jobs you can find.

Work at home moms

Work at home moms

With the current economy not doing very well, many people have been retrenched or are jobless and cannot get hold of a job. However, there are actually jobs for everyone; only that most people do not know that it actually exist or do not trust it at all. This job is a job which allows one to work at home and earn them an income. Yes, such a job exists and is legitimate (if you are good at spotting scams, you will know which are legitimate and which are not). Though there might be several scam sites around, many people are still able to get hold of a job which allows them to work at home.

Many moms around the world are sitting at home right now and doing their work. These people are also known as Work At Home Moms (WAHM). It is not uncommon for one to have a “work at home” job in this era. Since the world is moving so fast, many companies turn to the internet to hire people for various jobs. This includes data entry, reading of emails, web designing and many more. Anyone can work from home taking their own sweet time to complete the job. Though there are companies which pay only for work that you have done, some are generous enough to pay you a daily 8-hours salary.

There are some people who have found their riches while working at home. This is because companies might pay a handsome sum of money for work that is well done. Some even pay an added bonus sum of money for people who are able to complete many tasks within a short period of time (a reward for their efficiency rate). So, it does not necessarily mean that having a ?work at home? means a low income rate. You still have the potential to earn an income that is equivalent to or more than those having a day job.

If you are afraid of being a victim of scam, do not worry. There are several steps which you can take to prevent being scammed. Firstly, take note of the name of the company and do a check on them. Search the name and see if there are any negative or positive comments about them. Alternatively, you can go to the Better Business Bureau website and see if they are listed there (this might be the best alternative if you seriously do not wish to take the risk).

There are many benefits for people who take up a “work at home” job. These people would be able to spend more time with their families, have more leisure time (stress-free life), have control over how much they earn, be worry-free about being late for work (own time own target, it?s your call), save transport fee (imagine the total amount of money you have spent travelling to and fro the company) and many other benefits which you will get to know of when you get hold of such a job.

Therefore, a day job can never be better than a job which allows you to work at home. This is why there is a rise in numbers of “work at home” job seekers daily.

Marketing To Your Buyer Personas

A Buyer Persona is a group of people that share similar demographics and interests.  In the 1996 Presidential election, the Clinton campaign went after a group of voters they felt were the key to the election – the Soccer Mom.

The idea behind creating a buyer persona is to understand the wants and needs of a common group of people. Once you understand what’s important to any particular customer group, you stand a much better chance of getting them to act on a marketing communication.

Defining the most prominent buyer personas for your target market is essential to understanding their specific needs and wants. Your marketing communications can be better targeted if they speak to the problems and issues experienced by your various personas.

Let’s look at an example. Suppose you own a roofing company that targets commercial roofing jobs. By looking at your various customers, you realize you can group them into the following personas.

•    Real Estate Property Managers

•    Commercial Building Supervisors

•    Office Building Managers

•    Institutional Building Managers (schools, hospitals, etc.)

Each of these customer groups may have specific needs as it relates to roofing maintenance, replacement and repair. By learning as much as you can about these customer groups, you can better focus your core marketing message and promotional offers for building trust, credibility and profits.

You may find your business only has a couple of buyer personas or you may find you have a dozen or so. The quantity is not important. What is important is your ability to define them clearly.

Defining Your Buyer Personas

The key to defining your buyer personas is to look at your customer data and find ways to group common characteristics. Pull up your favorite word processing program and start writing short biographies on your customer personas. Break your customers down into well defined buying categories as best you can. You don’t have to be perfect here, just do the best job with the current data you have. Buyer persona profiles can contain age, gender, income level, occupation, education level, hobbies, and anything else you can think of.

If you’re a B-to-B company, then it may make better sense for you to create corporate personas instead of buyer personas. A corporate persona can segment based on industry, number of employees, revenue levels, and any other characteristic that applies to your business.

Once you have defined your buyer persona categories, the next step is to actually write a short biography on each one. You are not describing any one particular customer, but a composite of all customers that make up that persona.

My website is designed for home-based and small business owners that want to increase their profits using strategic marketing techniques. Here’s an example of one of my buyer personas. Note that I have given the persona a title and have written a short composite biography.

The Local Brick-and-Mortar Business Owner

The Local Business Owner has a small business storefront in their community that does well. They are relatively happy with their earnings but have this nagging feeling that business could be double what it is now. They feel that they could market their business more but are reluctant to spend lots of money on direct mail. While they currently have a website, it is more of a static entity rather than a proactive tool in growing their business. They would love to start a comprehensive marketing program but need to be assured that their investment would produce the required results.

The Self-Starting WAHM

The Self-Starting WAHM is the creative Work-At-Home-Mom that has a small internet business she runs part-time. While she has done a great job and getting her business off the ground, she realizes that she needs help optimizing her web pages for the search engines and testing new offers to see which ones perform the best. With her limited work schedule, she knows she needs help but is hesitant to invest a large amount of money hiring a consultant.

In the above two examples, do you see how I might change my marketing message depending on whether I was communicating to The Local Brick-and-Mortar Business Owner as opposed to the Self-Starting WAHM? My core marketing message and call-to-action would be very different.

You’re never quite done crafting your personas. As you learn more about your customers through surveys and other forms of feedback, you’ll be able to better define and create compelling messages that will connect directly with the needs and wants of each group.

Take the time to learn and build upon your Buyer Personas. It’s truly the first step in creating targeted high-impact communications.

Are You Happy Being A Work At Home Mom?

I have a confession.

I’m a mostly-sane WAHM. I’m far from the ‘got it together’ work at home mom that I’d like to be.

I believe that there are a lot of women out there like me – clutching onto your sanity while juggling family, daily work requirements, basketball practice, ballet recitals, PTA meetings, and the many other responsibilities we carry on our shoulders.

If you’ve been a WAHM for more than a minute, you know the predicament we face. We chose to work from home so that we could spend more time with our children. This is great in theory. What happens, though is that we end up with no scheduled and defined work time, so it becomes a struggle to find time to spend with our kids. When you hear other people say “It must be so nice to work from home so you can spend time with your kids all day”, you roll on the floor laughing. If only it were so simple! Finding the balance between work and home can be a constant struggle especially when work IS home.

I remember the days when I worked out of the home in an office job. I had two separate and distinct compartments in my life. There was the office, where I could work in peace and quiet, focus on projects and be productive. And, then there was home, where I was able to focus on my children and have fun. I had scheduled working hours, and also distinct family time.

Now, I have the ‘hom-ffice’, an odd melding of home and office. The line between the two compartments is unclear. My office is now an extension of home. And, home is becoming an extension of my office.

Because of this dilemma, I find that I’ve got the focus of a gnat. Here’s how my work day goes.

I wake up, grab a cup of coffee, and sit in front of the computer to check my email. Fifty new messages. No problem. I get ready to tackle the first one.

“Dear Nicole, I was wondering if you might be interested in” …

“juice in a sippy cup, pretty please my pretty mommy?”

Whoa!! Ok, brain switch! I turn and look at my little girl who just crawled out of bed. She is a perfect picture of childhood, with her big brown eyes, sweaty wildly curly hair and big grin. I hug this rosy-cheeked angel and go to the kitchen to get juice. Then, I sit back down and attempt to read my email

“Dear Nicole, I was wondering if you might be interested in my new affiliate program selling” …

“the new Lego robot I built!”

Brain switch again. I swivel my office chair and see my son, his blue eyes twinkling, and his face beaming proudly, holding up his Lego creation. I ‘ooh’ and ‘ahhh’ over the new Lego invention — a robot that can climb walls. I rub his blonde head and tell him how wildly creative he is. He grins and goes back to Lego-building.

I swivel back to work, and try to get as much done as I can between the many interruptions, karate practice, dinner and bedtime stories. Oftentimes, late at night, you can find me working, while watching late night TV shows. My husband comes in to check on me. I swivel my chair to get my good-night kiss and I tell him that I just want to wrap up a few last projects. I stagger to bed late at night only to start again, before the kids wake up in the morning.

Are you seeing the pattern? Is there any wonder that I’m mostly-sane? Look at your own days and I’ll bet they are very similar to mine.

Despite the frazzled hours and days, and all the distractions, I love being a WAHM. The honest truth is that I wouldn’t trade my job for any corporate job in America.

However, as I meet more and more work at home moms, it’s becoming apparent that I’m not alone in my struggles. Other moms are setting expectations that are just not matching reality. What can we do about it?

1. Reclaim your office:

If you have one room that you can dedicate to your work, stake your claim on it. Clear out all toys and non-work items. Make your “hom-ffice” a real office. No more messing around with half a commitment to your business. Your office is your turf. Protect it.

2. Buy a timer:

If your children are old enough to understand the concept of time, invest in a timer. It’s a life saver. The next time you need uninterrupted working time, tell the kids that you’re setting the timer for 20 minutes. If they give you 20 minutes of uninterrupted work time, then reward them with quality time with you. Play a board game together or go to the park.

Set goals this month to reclaim your work area and your time, and you will take a step closer to being a happy, relaxed, and successful WAHM!

As a virtual assistant, you will probably use many resources such as local newspapers and online job sites when looking for work. But how much do you need to know about the companies who post these ads? How can you distinguish between a legitimate ad and a scam? Once you’ve found a few legitimate clients, you will become better at distinguishing good employment opportunities from bad ones. But here are a few tips to help you in the meantime!

Tip #1: Never Send Money

During your virtual job search, you will come across ads that offer to help you find clients easily, promise you full-time work in data entry or transcription, or ads that promise instant income only after you send money for a start-up kit or guide.

Never pay an employer to hire you. When looking for potential clients in the newspaper or online, only consider ads asking for help. These will be ads posted by companies who are in need of your services.

If you want to learn more about a company before making contact, visit the Better Business Bureau at http://BBB.org. This site is very easy to use. Searching by state, you should be able to find the company you’re interested in easily. You can find out when the company was started, what the company does, and most importantly, if the company has been investigated for fraud or misrepresentation.

Tip #2: Gather Additional Information

Even if a company seems legitimate, it doesn’t hurt to find out more about the position you’re applying for. Asking questions about salary, how you will be paid, and the frequency of payment are very important. Never give out bank account information over the phone or online. If the company wants to pay you through electronic means, they will send you forms or you may have to go to their location and fill them out.

Ask for references before committing to performing any services. These references can be other virtual assistants, clients, or vendors the company has worked with before. If the company is hesitant to do so, then you should decide if the job is worth pursuing.

Finding out as much about your job tasks up front will make your job much easier. You can create a contract that lists your job functions, hourly rate, and other information so you and the client are in agreement.

Virtual employment should be taken just as seriously as any other position within a company. If the company hires virtual assistants regularly, they may have their own set of paperwork for you to fill out as well.

Tip #3: You Won’t Get Rich Quick

Ads that proclaim you can ‘Get Rich Quick!’ are scams. Legitimate companies never make claims like this when they want to be taken seriously. If you’re having difficulty deciding whether an ad is legitimate or not, visit http://wahm.com. This website was created to help stay-at-home moms (and dads) find legitimate jobs they can perform at home. When you join the site’s message board, you can ask questions about a company and the moderators will do their best to find out as much information as possible.

Tip#4: Follow Your Instincts

If an ad promises unrealistic outcomes, or just seems suspicious, keep looking. Because many companies are in need of the skills you provide, you shouldn’t worry about not jumping on every opportunity you find.

One more resource to use when checking up on a company is http://ripoffreport.com. This site is similar to the Better Business Bureau and can help prevent you from falling victim to a fraudulent company.

Keep in mind that once you find a few clients and build a working relationship with them, you won’t have to look for work as often. Through consistent work from existing clients and referrals, you may have to turn work away!

I am a big believer that persistent and consistent action will get you closer to your goals. Reading some wonderful ideas will do you no good, unless, you actually apply them in your life.

So here we go.

Secret #1

1. What are you doing today?

Create a schedule for yourself but don’t stress about following it to the tee. As mom’s, we know that deciding to work from 9am to 12pm does not mean we will sit there for three hours straight without interruption. You will probably get up 10 or more times in three hours if you have small children around the house. But children do need and thrive on being on a schedule. If you have very young ones you should feed them and put them down for a nap at the same time everyday. Or at least try to do so.

As a mom of four with a one year old baby, I know that my little one sometimes has plans of his own and will try to resist napping. When you have day’s like this where it seems like nobody is going with the flow, just relax and be grateful that you have the opportunity of being home with your children, getting frustrated at the work that goes undone will only add stress to your life and the very fact that you work from home is because your children are your priority. So if the work doesn’t get done, Let It Go, you can always catch up later or on the weekend, Relax, you don’t have a boss looking over your shoulders (so glad those day’s are over).

Secret #2

2. What’s for Dinner Mom?

Yea I know that sounds silly, but when the clock hit’s 5pm do you know what your going to cook? If you don’t it will take you twice as long to get Dinner ready. My suggestion is plan your meals a week in advance, put a grocery list together of everything you will need and stock up for all those meals. This will save you lot’s of time. Another usefull tool to use in the kitchen is a crockpot, you just throw everything in there in the morning and by 5pm dinner is ready. VOILA!

Secret #3

3. Just say NO!

It seems everyone wants a piece of you! Your sister wants you to take the kids for the weekend, your kid’s school wants you to bake 4 dozen cookies for a fundraiser event, your mother wants you to come over and fix her screen door, your best friend wants you to come over to talk about her impending divorce, a local charity wants you to volunteer, telemarketers want you to subscribe to the local newspaper…need I say more?

We take on more than we can comfortably deliver in an unconscious desire to impress others, get ahead, and keep up with others’ expectations. Meanwhile, our top priorities go unaddressed.

To become a successful WAHM and creating your desired lifestyle, you will have to get comfortable at saying NO to all the people and distractions that would otherwise devour you. Successful WAHM’s know how to say NO without feeling guilty.

Secret#4

4. Maximize your time.

When that baby or toddler is sleeping then I recommend you RUN to your office. The best time to accomplish tasks that need to be completed is when the little ones nap. What might take you 2 hours to finish with the kids awake will take you only 30 minutes while they sleep, so if you can, always plan on making phone calls and working on things that need your undivided attention when the little ones are napping. This one is pretty mom common sense, I don’t need to elaborate further.

Secret #5

5. Ask for help.

You can do anything but not everything. It is so important that everyone in the household contributes. A family needs to work as a team, you should not be doing everything yourself. Delegate household chores to your husband and your children (as long as they are old enough to help). Laundry, dishes, sweeping, organizing, dusting, cooking etc…

All these things are not your sole responsibility. As children get older you will be amazed at all the things they can do. My eight year old for example, washes dishes, sorts the laundry, cleans countertops, makes our bed. My seven year old vacuums, dusts, picks up his toy’s, makes his bed as well as my six year old and my one year old loves to throw toy’s in the toy basket! Start early on to teach your kids to be organized- The reward is huge!

And if this isn’t your situation then just take it one step at a time, don’t give your kids a long list of chores and expect them to run off and get them done. Start with one thing like making their own beds for two weeks, once that has become a habit go on to another task that they can do. Do this over and over and your kids will become the best help you will ever know or have!

Secret #6

6. Where’s my bubble bath?

Practice good self care. You take care of everyone else all day long but don’t forget you need to take care of YOU! Without you at your emotional best even the smallest thing can turn you into a walking time bomb. Take the time to relax in a bubble bath, read a great book, get a massage, get a pedicure, take a walk alone, or whatever helps you to clear your mind and focus on you. You are the most important part of this equation!

Secret #7

7. What are your goals?

What do you want? More money you say, yes but what do you want to do with more money? Write down what your life is going to look like after you earn X amount of money. You need to know why you are doing what your doing.

Maybe it’s more trips to Disney world every year or that your children will have secured funds for college or maybe you want a new car, a bigger house, a cleaning lady, a personal chef, whatever it is write it down and know that being a WAHM will come with it’s challenges, but you have decided that you are going to live your best life possible.

You have the best of both world’s. Your children are in your loving care, you have a career that mentally stimulates you. YOU have an incredible opportunity to help other women live this way. So start today, implement these 7 steps that will make it a very smooth journey towards becoming a Successful Work At Home Mom! And remember, You have a seed of greatness in you and an unlimited potential to elevate everyone around you. Go for it!
